American Express and Singapore Airlines have expanded the benefits of the American Express Singapore Airlines business credit card, offering better rewards and travel flexibility for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  • Increased ability to convert HighFlyer points into KrisFlyer miles.

  • Redeem points for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status at a discounted rate.

  • Additional travel rewards and benefits tailored to business needs.

American Express and Singapore Airlines have enhanced their business credit card, offering an increased cap on transferring HighFlyer points to KrisFlyer miles.

This feature provides companies with greater chances of maximising rewards and accumulating miles faster, allowing them to enjoy travel rewards sooner. Cardholders can also redeem points for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status at a lower price, opening a wealth of special benefits that will upgrade their travel experience with Singapore Airlines.

The enhancements are part of an ongoing drive to meet the changing needs of SMEs, especially those with regular business travel needs. The greater flexibility of rewards means businesses can gain more from redemption choices, making the card an asset for companies that use travel for expansion.

Strengthening a long-standing partnership

American Express and Singapore Airlines have had a 25-year history of successful collaboration, and this move further consolidates their partnership. Both companies are dedicated to the support of SMEs by providing them with more financial freedom, customised rewards and better travel experiences.

Marlin Brown, American Express country manager for Singapore, expressed enthusiasm about the upgraded card, saying, "We are excited to extend the privileges of our American Express Singapore Airlines business credit card. Our long-term partnership with Singapore Airlines has enabled us to develop a product that helps SMEs drive their business aspirations."

Ng Yung Han, vice president of global and corporate sales at Singapore Airlines, emphasised the significance of the alliance, saying, "By continuing to partner with American Express, we are offering SMEs greater flexibility and value. The Singapore Airlines HighFlyer programme and the upgraded American Express business card ensure small businesses can get more rewards and travel benefits."

With these additional advantages, American Express and Singapore Airlines want to empower SMEs by creating more chances for growth and achievement. The improved business card opens the door to an extensive portfolio of rewards that not only meet businesses' fiscal requirements but enhance their travel life as well. For frequent travellers or companies wishing to maximise their rewards, the card is poised to be an effective tool in enabling companies to go further.
