BOA loss of control over overdraft protection settings

I am an experienced software consultant doing systems integration in the financial services industry. Today I received an email from Bank of America asking me to check my overdraft protection settings. What I founds was my primary account checking was set to off. I am the only person in my family who has the log on credential for managing my account and believe there had to be a technical glitch in the banks system management. Mostly based on BOA proactively sending emails to check my settings and finding the setting for one of my key accounts was inaccurately set to off. Following is an email I sent to BOA.
