80% of clients now use the mobile app regularly
Real-time payments launched in India, the UK and Thailand
Citi Singapore has significantly advanced its digital wealth platform, resulting in a 165% increase in digital wealth transactions over just two years.
This transformation has come up to manage the experience to make it faster, smarter and more user-friendly. This change began with a complete overhaul of Citi’s mobile app and website, in which over 100 new features have been introduced to simplify investments.
According to Gourab Kundu, head of digital growth for Citi Wealth, Asia South, the goal was to make the digital ecosystem “speak the wealth language.”
Among the enhancements is the 'auto top-up feature'. Previously, clients used to manually convert the Singapore dollars to US dollars before investing them in the US market. The upgraded platform now performs currency conversion automatically in real time, reducing friction and enhancing efficiency.
