Shifting bank accounts

I have been trying to reach out to you guys to get my money from my Vietnam salary account to US since I have moved. Your people cannot understand the small issue and kept giving me illogical answers. Recently, they told me to drop an email to BIDV help email address and will receive a response in 24 hours. I have dropped 3 emails over the last 3 days and have not received any response. I will advertise this as much as possible and ask my company to consider shifting accounts to some other bank where people actually work.

Pathetic service and security

Now I see what kind of customer support this bank is giving I thank God I never chose this money eating bank for my salary account with pathetic service and security. My dad has a salary account with your so called esteemed bank from a long time. He went to withdraw money recently and got cheated from your ATM as the display showed transaction cannot be processed. After he came out of the ATM, he got an sms saying 20000 is deducted. He immediately called the customer care and blocked his debit card as he thought something is fraudulent. We raised so many complaints etc the answer that we received was the money was disbursed at the ATM. But the thing is that he didn't received it and when the ATM machine itself says that transaction cannot be processed how the hell can you say that you can't do anything if after he came out of the ATM and then the cash would have come out. It's a sheer disgrace for such a bank to know that it's compromising on the security. I am going to fight against this till the end. If it's your technical fault you should bear the brunt of it.

Bullshit slogan

All was well before today, till the time I did not realize that how pathetic customer support is especially when you are in trouble. Someone used my credit card for a fraudulent transaction in the afternoon and I called CC services. After 10 min I got connected with them and they blocked my card soon only after two fraud transactions. Then I was instructed to go to nearest BIDV Branch. As it was Saturday, the bank operates for half day. When I reached, one lady came outside and said branch is closed and I have to go to sec 14 branch. I rushed there but was 10 minutes late, the security guard stopped me at main gate and refuse to call any branch person. I called call center again regarding the cc service and kept me on hold after 20 minutes before disconnected. The branch staff did not bother to help me out. I know it was partially my fault but there was absolutely no customer service on the ground and on the phone. Keep your bullshit slogan with you.

Slow response

On 11OCT 2015, i received a SMS from BIDV electronic notification stating that my account had transferred an amount of almost USD 2700. (Which wasnt done by me). I called BIDV & was told to make a police report which I did within the next hour. However, since then this case has been pushed around with no definite solutions. Not even a proper solution or any assurance was given in getting the money back. They did follow up with me but the only response was "its still under investigation" even after knowing who the merchant is. And when they found out about the merchant (overseas merchant to be exact.)After that there is no more follow up calls from BIDV. They didn't bother to liaise with the police for further investigation, instead they asked me to call the investigation officer and let the IO know. Is this how it should be done? The client doing the part of your job? If its so, what is the bank doing apart from finding out the merchant? How am I going to trust that my account(s) will still be safely guarded by the bank & are in good hands? I'm really very disappointed and I demand BIDV to get back to me immediately!

I am absolutely disgusted with how a member of your staff treated my parents at your Dong Anh branch. They were victims of fraud with Paypal and reach out to BIDV for help. Instead they were told that it was nothing to do with BIDV. The branch manager was aggressive in his manners and then just walked off. Is this how BIDV treats people who are victims of fraud? You should have helped them to get in contact with Paypal ASAP. To just walk off is rude and unprofessional and unethical. I have suggested to them that they should close their account. You should be ashamed.
