Emirates NBD has plenty of atms and branches so its easy to withdraw or deposit cash. However, the branch can take alot of time and the call center is not helpful. Their customer service is lacking and the staff do not have answers to questions, they say they will call back and never do. Also, very hard to get a credit card from them.

Perpetual massive Qs at bank lines and ATM machines. Their information counter can be helpful but who wants to wait 10-20 minutes just to get to an ATM (not to mention counter)?

I am very pleased with BPI because it has the best online and mobile banking capabilities in the country.

I am very pleased with BPI because it has the best online and mobile banking capabilities in the country. It's also the only bank that has special ATMs that allow real-time cardless deposits. Locally it's very convenient. However I used my ATM card overseas and I couldn't withdraw cash, despite my card having the Cirrus logo on it. If it was my only bank I would have been in a huge heap of trouble in a foreign country.

There was a recent incident where I left my ATM card in the machine at my bank branch.

There was a recent incident where I left my ATM card in the machine at my bank branch. It happened rather quickly and the next person in line scooped in and managed to withdraw a couple of hundreds before making a speedy exit. I realized this quickly and reported it to the security who then got an officer to record the details. While the officer was polite, I felt rather frustrated and dissatisfied that despite the absence of any remedial efforts yet and with visual evidence from cameras at the ATM machine, he quickly closed off the issue by preempting that the bank nor the police would be able to do much to locate the culprit and that I can wipe off any hope to recover what was taken. Instead, I was told to be less careless the next time and to take this as a lesson.

Wrong deduction of payment

NBAD, when are you planning to return the extra payment of 2200 dhs which you have deducted from my personal account to close my credit card for more than 1 month. Yesterday with the credit card statement generated and customer service confirmation, I can call immediately to make request 2200 dhs. Today your customer service told me a different story and said it will take 3 more days to process. The card was closed and no purchases was made!

My account was debited without trace nor transaction location or company profile of my debitor. How can you tell me I made a transaction I know nothing about in June 2015 and you are debiting me on October 2015 even on an expired card dated for January 2015. And you charged me twice for this transaction which I did not make. Please don't make me scream as I am very frustrated with your customer service. My account need an urgent attention. You did same thing to me last year with my ATM card. The most annoying thing about your service is that you claim to listen but you don't act. Even when you manage to act out of pressure you don't follow up to verify if your client issue has been resolved or if they are satisfied unlike other banks. Stop giving us the impression you care about your customer.
